Does your insurance cover my belongings?
No. Our caravans are insured against accidental damage, public liability and theft subject to £250 excess. The Hirers excess is limited to £150 You must inform your vehicle insurers you are towing a caravan, and we must see your car insurance certificate prior to hire. As a rough guide we are responsible when the caravan is not hitched to your vehicle and you may be when it is.We are not liable for your car or personal belonging or any third party claims. We strongly recommend you take out holiday insurance which includes health and personal belongings ,and Fill in the E11 form before travelling.
What equipment os provided?
Equipment includes, Oven or Microwave, Gas hob and Grill, Fridge, hot and cold water. Shower, Toilet Full lengh Awning and bbq with outide furniture, Toaster, Kettle all crockery, cutlery and utensils. Corkscrew of course. The caravans are cleaned after every hire and serviced at start of season. We also provide the magic xxx free of charge. If you look hard enough you will find it in every caravan we hire. Children find it straight away, adults take a little bit longer.
Are pets allowed?
Yes. Due to space available in a caravan only small housepets, No St Bernard dogs for example.A charge of £20 is made for cleaning etc. You will require a pet passport.
What happens if I am late?
On collection if you are late ring us up and we will wait for you. It you are late returning the caravan it may spoil the next hirers holiday. Depending on how late, a charge will be made from your deposit which will be paid to the next hirer as compensation.
What do I need to bring?
Just your own Bedding, Towels, Personal items and a smile.
Will my car tow the caravan?
Most familly saloons 1600cc and above will have enough power and unladen weight to pull most of our caravans safely. We will check the MLTP. A properly fitted towbar and electrics are essential. Please contact us if in doubt and we can check your car and advise on suitability.
What happens if something goes wrong?
We have an emergency telephone number in france for advise and help with any problems.We are always available to help however if you are a long distance away please use your initiative, for instance; if the water pump breaks or you have a puncture, if its our fault we will reimburse you just keep the receipt. We also provide wheelclamp or hitching lock which must be used if the caravan is left unattended. We also provide full towing and caravan use instructions. We strongly advise membership of a motoring breakdown service and a service for the towing vehicle as we are not responsible for your car.
